Manager: (pointing to my book laying by my bag) So, you know that new rule about no reading on weekends.
Me: I haven't even read it except for five minutes when nobody was around.
Manager: Well, you shouldn't even have it. You can't read on weekends. That's the rule.
Me: Even when there are no customers?
Manager: Yes.
Me: Why?
Manager: Because I said so.
Me: Ok, well I'm just wondering the reason behind that.
Manager: Because it looks bad.
Me: Right.
