pedrosanchez:

i tried sleeping in pajama shorts and a t shirt a week ago or something and i really don’t get how people do it at all. i woke with wedgies and i was tangled in my shirt and it was just uncomfortable.

Sleeping in a t-shirt is unpleasant; I’ve done it a couple times, and I’ve never really gotten the hang of it. It always seems to end in near-strangulation.

Even boxers are kind of a hassle to wear to bed. (Wedgies!)

Honestly, though, sleeping with clothes on at all is a nuisance.

On Mondays and Wednesdays, I have a four-hour break between classes. All I want to do is fall asleep in the library, but I feel pretty awkward sleeping in public. The third and fourth floors are less populated, but I don’t get a wi-fi signal up there, so I would have to pack up my things and change floors when I want to study/sleep.

Summary: I’m so tired.

I think I’ll be visiting this site often.

I unabashedly love this thing. Thank you for posting this!

Just took some hardcore cold meds that are supposed to knock you out.  It’s been about ten minutes, I can feel my eyes getting heavier.

I wonder how long I can ride this thing out.

Haha, I used to do that with my temazepam. I always lost, but I never cared.

I Remember, Nikki Giovanni

poetry365:

i remember learning you jump
in your sleep and smile
when you wake up

at first you cuddle
then one arm across my stomach
then one leg touching my leg then
you turn your back

but you smile when you wake up

i was surprised to know you don’t care
if your amp burns all night and that you could
play ohmeohmy over and over again just
because you remembered

i discovered you don’t like hair
in your bathroom sink and never step
your wet feet onto a clean rug

you will answer your phone
but you don’t talk too long and you do
rub my toes and make faces
while you talk
and your voice told her anyway
that i was there

you can get up at three and make sandwiches
and orange juice and tell jokes
you sometimes make incoherent sentences
you snore
and you smile when you wake up

i know you cry when you’re hurt
and curse when you’re angry
and try when you don’t feel
like it and smile at me
when you wake up

these things i learned through
a simple single touch
when fleshes clashed

I want to sleep in so badly right now. It’s dark and rainy outside, and I didn’t get to sleep until pretty early this morning. But I’m not sleeping in. Instead, I’m going to your Technology for Teachers class, Professor Mark Taylor at Florissant Valley Community College.

So, uh, if you Google yourself and come across this, bonus points would be rad.

After I get out of my class this afternoon/evening, I am considering renting “Almost Famous” or “The Science of Sleep”. Or, maybe I should rent “The Pianist” so I can determine whether I think Roman Polanski should be jailed for raping a child. That’s how it works, right?
