Went to the Eleven fundraiser tonight. Devan Dignan and Jeremy Mall had the goal of eating a 28-inch “Gigunda” pizza, weighing in at around 7 pounds, in under an hour.
They got SO CLOSE. They made it to within a few bites of finishing the pizza before Devan coughed some pizza up, causing them to be disqualified. Still, though. Devan ate over half of a 7 pound pizza in like 20 minutes. Wow.
I’m interested in seeing how much money Eleven made tonight—Monetti’s was packed, and on top of the pledges per slice of pizza eaten by these two gentlemen, we get 11% of their gross income for the night.
