Rebecca and I drove back to St. Louis today after spending the weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks with my family. Even though our boat wasn’t working, and it was a little too chilly to swim, I think we had a good time. I definitely enjoyed her company a lot! It was really neat to spend that much time with her—I got to tell her goodnight right before she went to bed; and she woke up before me both days, making her one of the first people I saw in the morning. Very cool.
Hopefully the boat is fixed the next time we’re down. Something is wrong with the trim, which means that the propeller is stuck at its upmost angle. This prevents the boat from being driven anywhere, because it points the bow so high up that the driver can’t see over it.
I’m going to fall asleep to a Star Wars movie now. Yay!
