Patrick's Tumblog

There’s a Mates of State concert tonight. I want to go. Also JD and Amanda. It should be really good. I hope there’s still tickets. I also want to take pictures.

I went to a fundraiser/dance with Rebecca and family last night. We learned how to swing dance. It was a lot of fun. The air-conditioning was dead, so I dare say that hot times were had by all. Went to Fritz’s afterward, which was delicious, and then went back to Rebecca’s for awhile. Left there around 11—by the way, Rebecca is really cute and I love her—and on the way home learned that JD and Amanda were at IHOP because their air-conditioning was dead too. I went over there and hung out and ate and drank at least four glasses of iced tea. Why doesn’t the air-conditioning ever go out when it’s in the upper 70s, low 80s? It’s always on the mid-90 degree days. Typical.

It’s 3am as I write this, to give a time reference. My church’s 50-year anniversary is today, so nobody’s really speaking until 2:00 PM, when our former pastor, Pastor Rhea is speaking. He’s really amazing, so I’m excited. I’m going to a church picnic with Rebecca’s family at 12:30, but I might have to cut out early for this.
