I’m really proud of my girlfriend.
Okay, so I know she’s a very talented artist, and I’m always proud of her work; but it’s really awesome to go to an awards ceremony and see my pride validated by people whose job it is to instruct and critique art.
She won, not one, but two $250 scholarships for her outstanding work. One from the UCM Art Department, and one from Mid-Missouri Artists, Inc. If you’re in the Warrensburg area, look for her in the paper, with the two other scholarship winners. (A photograph taken by yours truly, by the way!)
